Study Space in Rio de Janeiro

Ryan Rowberry, Co-Director of the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth, who visited us a few weeks ago, has encouraged us to participate in the upcoming Study Space, to be held in Rio de Janeiro next June.

The Application for Study Space XIII (2024) in Rio de Janeiro is live!

Along with FGV Direito Rio, GSU Law’s Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth is proud to reinvigorate our Study Space program for the first time since the pandemic. Study Space is a weeklong intensive workshop where 25-30 scholars, government representatives and private sector professionals from around the globe develop solutions to legal, social and policy challenges in urban areas. Study Space XIII will take place from June 16-21, 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and focus on “Creating Resilient Cities: Disaster Preparedness, Climate Change Adaptation, and Public Health Responses.
