4th Session of the Series of Meetings on the Right to Housing

We invite you to the fourth session “Aspects of Tax Law, Civil Law, and Procedural Law in Housing” of the series of meetings on the right to housing, organized by the Pascual Madoz Institute of Land, Urbanism and Environment at Carlos III University of Madrid and the Barcelona Chair of Housing Studies.

This fourth and final session will take place in Barcelona at the University of Barcelona Faculty of Law, with opening remarks by the Dean of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), Jesús M. Sánchez García, and participation by experts in various fields.

The speakers will be Violeta Ruiz Almendral, who will discuss tax aspects of housing; Isabel Viola Demestre, addressing protection measures and transparency in purchase and rental operations; and Vicente Pérez Daudí, speaking on the protection of vulnerable persons and the Civil Procedure Law. Finally, the series will conclude with reflections on the Right to Housing by Marcos Vaquer, Juli Ponce, and Domènec Sibina.
