The Barcelona Housing Studies Chair opens the 2026 call for research grants and funding

The Barcelona Housing Studies Chair (CBEH) publishes the rules of its 2026 call for grants and funding, which this year is structured around two modalities: research support grants and research publication grants.

This initiative aims to boost scientific production in the field of housing and the city, supporting both the undertaking of research projects and their subsequent dissemination.

Research support grants

The first modality, research support grants, is intended to support the undertaking of research projects, including doctoral theses, which candidates plan to carry out individually or in collaboration with several people.

Research projects must be original and unpublished and may be part of broader research projects.

Research publication grants

The second modality, research publication grants, is intended to cover the production costs of monographic works resulting from research carried out by individual authors (including doctoral research) or by the collective authorship of the members of a research group grouped into a single volume. In both cases, the grants may cover translation and editing costs.
