Online Seminar for Early-Career Researchers

The second online seminar for early-career researchers of the European Network for Housing Research will take place on March 9-10, 2023 (see https://enhr.net/new-researchers-online-seminar-2023/). The seminar will be conducted in English.

Doctoral students from any discipline conducting research on housing-related topics are invited to participate, as well as others not currently at this stage but intending to pursue doctoral studies in the future.

Main objectives of the seminar:

• Provide an opportunity for early-career researchers to present and discuss their work

• Receive feedback on work from senior members of the ENHR research community

• Enable early-career researchers to exchange ideas and share work experiences

• Discuss any other matters of common interest

• Help and encourage early-career researchers to prepare papers for presentation at the ENHR 2023 conference in Lodz (Poland), June 28-30

• Initiate and establish a forum to facilitate regular communication among early-career researchers within the ENHR framework

Participants are invited to submit a brief abstract of approximately 200 words by January 31, 2023 to the ENHR Secretariat.

There is no requirement to submit a complete paper. The abstract should include the title, a brief description of the work to be discussed, and the author’s name, affiliation, and contact information.

The seminar will also be open to those who wish to attend and participate in discussions without submitting an abstract.

Participation is free of charge.

The seminar program will be announced well before March 9.

tan convidats a participar l’alumnat de doctorat de qualsevol disciplina que estiguin fent investigacions sobre temes relacionats amb l’habitatge, així com altres que actualment no estiguin en aquesta etapa però que tinguin la intenció d’embarcar-se en estudis de doctorat en el futur.

Els objectius principals del seminari són:

• Proporcionar una oportunitat perquè els nous investigadors presentin i discuteixin la seva feina.
• Obtenir retroalimentació sobre el treball de membres sènior de la comunitat de recerca de l’ENHR.
• Permetre que els nous investigadors intercanviïn idees i comparteixin experiències de treball.
• Discutir qualsevol altre assumpte d’interès comú.
• Ajudar i animar nous investigadors a preparar documents que es presentaran a la conferència ENHR 2023 a Lodz (Polònia), del 28 al 30 de juny.
• Iniciar i establir un fòrum per facilitar la comunicació regular entre els nous investigadors en el marc de l’ENHR.

Es convida els participants a enviar un breu resum d’unes 200 paraules abans del 31 de gener del 2023 a la Secretaria de l’ENHR.

No hi ha cap requisit per enviar una feina completa. El resum ha d’incloure el títol, una breu descripció del treball a discutir i el nom, l’afiliació i les dades de contacte de l’autor.
El seminari estarà obert també a aquells que vulguin assistir i participar en les discussions sense enviar un resum.

La participació és lliure de càrrec.
