Participation of the Barcelona Housing Studies Chair in the UAB Innovation Camp on Housing and Ageing

On 19 March, the Innovation Camp on Housing and Ageing took place at the Hotel Exe Campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). This collaborative initiative was promoted within the framework of the UAB micro-credential “Facilitation of Shared Agendas”. The event brought together representatives from public administration, universities and research centres, the third sector and the private sector to jointly analyse the main challenges associated with the accessibility and adaptation of housing for older people, as well as to explore possible shared lines of action.

Dr. Judith Gifreu Font, co-director of the Chair, participated in this activity, contributing to the organisation tasks and actively taking part in one of the roundtables of the event. Her intervention took place in an interdisciplinary reflection space aimed at identifying obstacles, opportunities and collaboration strategies in the field of housing and ageing, thus contributing to the development of the debate and the promotion of future cooperation initiatives among the different actors involved.
