The Barcelona Chair of Housing Studies launches the monthly newsletter “Claus d’Habitatge”

The first issue, corresponding to July 2026, is now available and includes an interview with Carme Trilla Bellart, news, regulations, case law, studies, and an events agenda.

The Barcelona Chair of Housing Studies (CBEH) has launched the monthly newsletter “Claus d’Habitatge”, a new periodical publication that aims to become a meeting point and reference for all individuals and entities interested in housing policies and urban affairs.

Issue number 1, corresponding to July 2026, is now accessible and offers a range of content to delve into current housing debates.

Contents of the first issue

In this first issue, readers will find:

• An interview with Carme Trilla Bellart, who reflects on social housing between structural deficit and public response.
• The most relevant news on housing and urban matters.
• A section on regulations and case law to keep up to date with legal and judicial changes.
• A section on studies and reports with analysis and contextual data.
• An agenda of conferences, seminars and events.
• A section on “What has the Chair done / what will it do?”, to learn first-hand about the CBEH’s activities.

Direction and team

The newsletter is directed by Dr. Judith Gifreu Font, and has an editorial board formed by Dr. Montserrat Pareja Eastaway, Dr. David Hernández Falagán, Dr. Juli Ponce Solé and Dr. Josep Ferrer Riba. Coordination is carried out by Dr. Wellington Migliari, and communication by Ferran Pellicer Pont.

The Chair invites everyone to read the newsletter and share it. We hope that “Claus d’Habitatge” will become a useful tool for all individuals and entities committed to the right to housing and the improvement of urban policies.
